I teamed up with Xyron to showcase their incredible machine called the “Glaminator” at the very first Prime video retreat. This retreat was the first of it’s kind where you team up with a company and learn how to shoot, produce and edit video content for the client. The client gets three full videos and you leave knowing how to shoot your very own content. When I asked what this company wanted to see, they said “anything you want.” Um, yes please! How about three inspirational parties?!

Toss Kindness Around Like Confetti
Wanting to show how the Xyron Glaminator works, I wanted to showcase it’s main feature in this first party. This machine is a laminater but with a glam secret! From cool, hot and now a FOIL lamination process, this machine is incredible. All of the metallic and reflective surfaces you see below were all made with the Xyron Glaminator. I used simple shapes to make oversized confetti and attached them to the wall space using the Xyron Creative Station.

We had to show you how to top it off with a more permanent reminder that can be displayed on your desk, home or even your classroom.
Paper Airplane Party
An entire party with paper airplanes? Sure! Why not? Using one multicolored package of 65lb card stock and the Xyron Glaminator, I was able to create this entire party!
On the below photos you can see the paper airplane cake topper and the paper airplane wall backdrop, but it you look closer you’ll see something even sweeter. Using my at home laser printer, I typed out the simple “XO” and “I Love You” messages and then chose a monochromatic foil to Glaminate them with. I adore how subtle this effect is.
To elevate this look with the backdrop, I did mix in white paper with the blue, and others pink, foil. I added fairy lights to add a little magic!
From invitation, to meny and even place cards, one pack of a paper and this Glaminator and you are all set for take off!
Paper Fringe Backdrop
This paper fringe backdrop is SO easy to create and with the pops of reflective pieces, the Xyron Glaminator takes it to the next level. This backdrop is also one pack of paper that is 65lb card stock and all you need is a pair of sheers and some twine!
I imagined this party as a fiesta that needed a photo backdrop. Loving the trend of those fringe backdrops I thought that people may have better access to paper and their home laser printer. The props below were printed on white card stock in various designs and patterns to show the versatility of the Xyron Glaminator. You can see that even the most complex creations can’t compete!
