Spider Snack

Get ready for this creepy delicious spider snack to crawl right into your tummy! These simple edible treats will have you looking like a Halloween rock star with minimal effort that even the kids can enjoy putting together. Use these these pre bought and made pieces that all come together to create this frightfully cheerful treat! Our son, Luke, had his turn for snack in the classroom so we decided to have some fun with it… it was a hit and he loved making them!

Spider Snack

You will need:

Baker’s dipping Chocolate

Donut holes (ours are from Publix- they are on the bigger size)

Pretzel Sticks

Candy Goodly Eyes

Chocolate Sprinkles

All of the ingredients are able to be picked up from your local market so that you can just enjoy the ease of creating these creepy treats! From the store to your next event in under 15 minutes! Full print out recipe at the bottom of this post.

Spider SnackFirst start with your pretzels and break them in half  (do not worry about equal sizing) and stick 4 into the left side of your donut and then repeat on the right.Edible spiderSecond, take your Baker’s melting chocolate and dip your utensil into the chocolate and drizzle over your donut. The more blobs the more fun! Be sure to get the legs in on the action too!Chocolate spiderThird, add in your eyes (you can vary on your amount) and finish off your creation with chocolate sprinkles. Holloween snackLast, transfer your crawling creations onto a pan and refrigerate for 30 minutes to allow chocolate to set. Classroom snacks
