Headshots with Kristen Weaver Photography

Head shots are a little nerve racking. People always say that I am so photogenic- which is great because it means that I can fake it enough so they think that way- but it can be difficult to be serious (especially if you’re me).  I can’t even have a serious conversation without making a joke or cracking a smile. Good thing I had a great team on my side for my professional head shots!

Talented friends are the best kind!

When one of your best friends is Kristen Weaver of Kristen Weaver Photography – it doesn’t matter what your face looks like – thank God – because she makes everything gorgeous! Kristen Weaver is a genius in the photography world and a local celebrity of the Orlando photography world.

The idea

When Kristen asked me what I wanted concerning my head shots- I wanted them to be more “real.” I love my jeans and t shirts- even in the summer months here in Florida, you can find me wearing jeans. I also love getting dressed up. It is either t shirt and jeans or dressed to the nines. No in between. My hubbs also said that I should throw some paint all over my hands since I am always covered in it. This is actually very accurate. I just “do” when creating and I am not much a “prep-per” when it comes to my creations. Putting on gloves before painting just takes way too long.

Lights, camera and action!

With a professional hair and make up guru- LeJeune Artistry – my confidence levels were sky high! So I will admit- make up is art and I LOVE it- but my everyday is more of a “beast”/ all natural look- than this “beauty”/glam- but I’ll take it!  In my head this is what I look like all of the time… until those mirrors show up.

Tulle skirts make any situation or photo shoot just that much fun!

I love this next photo- I never thought I could look this way and I highly suggest a fantastic makeup and hair artist along side the best photographer ever if you need an esteem boost! *When you meet me in person I will not look like this! *wink*

We had a great time shooting these photos and it is always so wonderful to see Patricia of LeJeune Artistry and the bestie- Kristen Weaver. These two have supported me for years and are always overly eager to help in any way they can. These two are always eager to see my flourish in anything I do- I can’t thank them enough for all they have done for me.

Photogenic?! Why sure I am!
