Textured Paper Flower

Paper blooms are magical! You can keep them for much longer than real blooms and with paper, the possibilities are endless. You can make this paper flower in glitter, metallic, pearled, ANY kind of paper. Creating this flower is so easy and it will be the perfect addition to your table top decor. These are perfect for Mother’s day, birthday parties, baby showers, bridal showers and even Weddings!

Blooming Paper

To gather your supplies, just head over to Michaels craft stores.

Cricut Maker (you can try and hand cut this patter, we just love having the ability to make many of these in no time at all!)

Card Stock (this is Recollections 65lb in pale pink and black)

Hot Glue/Gun

Scissors

Loading up the Cricut Maker, we chose this simple flower design from their Design Space.

Cricut Paper FlowerOnce cut, remove your flower and gently bend the petals towards the center of the flower. Repeat with all petals. We cut doubles and layer for an even more textured look.DIY paper flowerFor the center, take paper and cut lines into it. Be sure to stop before the bottom of the paper. Paper Flower CenterStarting with one end, roll the paper onto itself and use hot glue to hold into place. Add hot glue to the bottom of the rolled up center and press into the paper flower center. Makes: 1-2 Crafting Time: 10 minutes each

Ingredients

  • Cricut Maker (Not Required)
  • Card Stock Paper
  • Scissors
  • Hot Glue/Gun

Instructions

1. You can Cut a flower shape by hand or refer to the post to get the direct link to the Cricut Design Space flower we used.

2. Once cut, remove your flower and gently bend the petals towards the center of the flower. Repeat with all petals. We cut doubles and layer for an even more textured look.

Notes
